Why do my phone sometimes kick out numbers it is a Alcatel Pixie 3 I paid $91 for

Sometimes when I use my phone I look up for a number in my contacts I don't see it so evidently it takes it out automatically somehow then I get access to the same number again reload it back in and later on in the week or the month to come I have multiple of that same number so why does it take it out anyway from the beginning it is a Alcatel Pixi 3 Android phone let me know please it doesn't quite often I'm just now starting to pay attention to it my friend asked me do I sleepwalk I don't know but I hope not.

It happened more than once on my Android phone.

What I meant to say it happened kind of often when I put my phone in my pocket or something it is a Alcatel Pixi 3. And the previous message I said doesn't but I meant to say it does happen often thank you.

Welcome to Android Central! Where are you saving your contacts to--your Google account or the local Phone account? You can tell by selecting a contact in the Contacts app and editing it--it will tell you which account it's associated with at the top.
