Android Central Question

Every time the phone reboots, it adds phone numbers to my contacts without my permission.
These numbers are related to my carrier (ex: Client service, consultation... etc)
The deeply angers me as they are added to the top of the list, how do I block such behavior? They are restored no matter how many times I remove them. Even worse, the phone crashes and restarts randomly, So they are restored automatically.

Phone xiaomi POCO F3 - MIUI 12.5 - Android 11 (Bad phone, boycott xiaomi)

Welcome to Android Central! Does your contacts app give you the option to choose which contact accounts to display? If so, and if you primarily use your Google account for your contacts, then select only your Google account contacts to show. Those preloaded carrier-related contacts are saved to the Phone account, not your Google account, so they wouldn't show up if you only show your Google account contacts.

In short:
1. I'm just offline, no google account.
2. I deleted those odd numbers, why are they being reset with such such ambiguous names. "Service client??? that could mean anything."
3. The sim can't execute code, this has to be Xiaomi's doing, since the phone is full of bloatware. The calculator requires internet access and camera access and file access. This is basically a monitoring system for the chinese dictatorship.

Long story:
I'm a developer and I'm trying to boycott google because they've gone too far, they are two months away from adding a clause to the privacy statement that says I have to spy on the women's bathroom and send them pics or live videos.
Xiaomi is helping them by giving concent on my behalf by default. I was shocked when I went through the settings for the first time, even more so when I realised the settings are reset automatically for a few things.
I have completly blocked pre installed apps and services from accessing the internet because updating miui to 12.5 caused the random restart bug.

If you are happy with the hardware and dissatisfied with the software, you should really consider heading over to XDA developers and look for a rom that suits your needs.

Any phone manufacturer and/or carrier can preload or preinstall anything it wants on a phone, and make it unremovable (unless you root the phone). There's no devious consent involved -- it's their device to sell, and your purchasing it is an implicit agreement.

Let's also not spread any FUD on this forum, thanks.

Hey I'm also on a Poco F3 and this is by far the most annoying think this phone does. I've searched everywhere for an answer as to how to stop this behavior without success.

I no longer have sync contacts activated because the phone would save multiple copies of the same carrier contacts.

I have dual sims so two different sets of (different) carrier contacts get pushed into my contacts several times a week.

This isn't my first phone, not even my first MIUI phone but it's the first time I've experienced this behavior. And it's very annoying.

To clarify, the dialer app is the culprit, since I have sync off they contacts tab in the dialer app is the one getting the unwanted contacts. And in the dialer app there's no show contacts from only this account/hide carrier contacts option. So I at least know which app is to blame. Weird thing it's the Google Dialer. But it must me modified in some way because I've used all Pixels and Nexus devices and never have had this problem on those devices and others like Oppo, Oneplus, LG where I've used that app. It never pulls the carriers contacts.

Also OP, contacts like Client Service, sound like your SIM is from Latin America, that's how we call and name the customer service department. So the name of the contacts seen correct. On my end they all are I just don't want them to be forced on me.

That sounds like a personal issue, and is illegal everywhere. Like B. Diddy said spreading that FUD is very uncool, and likely won't be tolerated much more here.
