Why does Chrome Beta keep crashing after Lollipop update?

I recently updated to lollipop on my Galaxy s5 and ever since then Chrome Beta will not open, it keeps crashing. I recently got an update for it and it opened for a few times then began to crash again. I also encountered the same problems as everyone else with my lollipop update such as overheating and bad battery drain but now after about a week the phone has slowly began to settle in and things are starting to work better except for Chrome Beta. Any advice?

I found a couple of glitches with chrome beta after lollipop. Nothing so bad as you say, but decided to clear the defaults and shortcuts I had for it and use the stable version instead. Tried clearing the cache and data for the beta but it didn't help.

Maybe you enabled some "flags" that are not ready for Lollipop. Check that.
