Why does facial recognition keep waking up the screen while it is wirelessly charging?

When I charge my GS8 on my Samsung brand wireless charger the phone screen keeps waking up over and over looking for facial recognition. There is nothing moving in front of it and no lights in the room and definitely no faces even close to looking at the screen. This just keeps happening all night long.

No idea why...my phone did that with facial recognition and still wakes up when wireless charging with a Pin. It usually stops waking up if I remove and replace the phone on the wireless charger, when it really nags me I plug the phone in to charge.
