Why does Google Now only read the first event of schedule "Okay Google what's today's schedule?"

I don't get it S Voice reads it all , and goes into details, while Google just reads the first line of the schedule and completely skips the rest...

compatibility problems?

I think that's just how Google Now works. I usually just ask it 'what's my next appointment', not for my full schedule for the day, but it might be that it's just not designed to do that.
