Why does Google Play show as malware on my Leagoo phone when scanned with Norton or McAffe

I have read that some cheap Chinese phones have security issues with embedded malware in the operating system that is sending personal data to servers in China. I have installed Norton and McAfee anti-virus for Android on my phone and both flag up that Google Play is Malware. McAfee lists the Malware as Artemis!f1b8b152f145. Is this true Malware or a false positive flagged up by both anti-virus apps?

Welcome to the forums. I just used both apps to scan my Pixel, and Play didn't come back as malware. I would gather screenshots of all the scans, and send an email to Google about this. They might want to look into it, as I think this may be an altered version of the Play store.
