why does mine say there is no update???went to ....about tablet ...system firmware ....check update and......then it says no updates?????

they also don't get rolled out at the same time. it can take a few days to get to everyone...

Check in your settings, about tablet, serial number. If yours says "Serial Number Unknown", then your out of luck like me. You won't get any OTA updates, and there is no solution right now. There's a 10 page thread on this over on XDA.

I had that yesterday, checked several times, and several times today, then tonight an update appears...

I think they are just rolling it out over time to everyone to ensure they can keep up with the downloads, I dont think they want to swamp there servers with every one all at once downloading updates, I know, patience my A$$!!! no one wants to wait or be the last update.

I had the same problem yesterday, and for some reason factory resetting worked. I didn't mind since I planned to factory reset before installing the update anyway.

Are you sure you are checking SETTINGS, then STATUS?



That is where you check your Serial Number. If it says "Serial Number Unknown" then you cannot get updates and your system is basically bonked, for now.
