Why does my alarm not make sound when phone is in soundless mode?

Hi guys,

I just updated my phone from 4.4.2 to 5.0.2.

Now the problem is that the alarm doesnt make sound when phone is put into soundless mode. Why is this happening?

And is it just me that thinks the design, icons etc of 5.0.2 is horrible? My phone looks like a Samsung now :'( Is it possible to revert to 4.4.2?

Use vibrate when you set alarm, instead of do not disturb. And install nova launcher immediately. Plus a nice icon pack. I suggest Polycon or Carton or Glim.

If you the silent/do not disturb even alarm will not work, look at the settings and set it to priority
