why does my android zte keep shutting off data setting by itself?

I can be surfing the internet and all of sudden my data setting turns off by itself. This happens even if i have unlimited data. And it does it very often.. Can you please help? Also it is very hard to make or receive calls on it. Im getting very frustrated. Im about to boycott androids all together,if i cant get the issue fixed.

Welcome to Android Central.

Three things come to mind. First, a bad SIM, which would be replaceable by your network.
Second, a third-party app may be causing trouble. Booting into Safe Mode would test that.
Third, if you are using an SD card, it may be giving trouble if bad.
