Why does my calendar how up as "events" or my email address instead of my name?

I just upgraded both my phone and my wife's to Nexus 5 and noticed that when we are viewing each other's shared calendar, our own calendar name is "Events" instead of our own name, but we see the other's calendar name as the correct name.

Also, I'm using Today Calendar and in the agenda view, it will show events for my wife with her name attached, but with my events, it will only show my gmail account.

We never noticed this before (stuck on Galaxy Nexus and Jelly Bean), so is this a Lollipop thing? Is there any to change this behaviour?

Welcome to Android Central! That was a recent change in the Google Calendar app. Your own primary calendar is called "Events" on your own phone.
