why does my cell phone switche off suddenly?

i have a core prime s360. the main problem is there was a problem in my original battery. i got another battery from dubai duty free. but though i changed the battery the mobile switches off suddenly and when i restart it, the battery is zero. is it the permanent problem of this model? does the new battery have the problem? or the problem is with mobile set. please help me to fix the problem.

My guess is the "new" battery is also a dud. That phone was released 6 years ago and no one is actively manufacturing batteries for a phone that long. Any battery you buy now may be new in the sense it's unused but would be heavily degraded due to age by this point. Your only long term solution at this point would be to buy a new (or perhaps a slightly used) phone, especially when you consider the relatively ancient specs of your current one.

If that phone is that old , better off getting something newer so you won't have app issues with that old Android version its running.
