Why does my DoPo 7.85 (KitKat) keep powering on like a new device?

kitkat keeps powering on like a new device

I bought my son a dopo 7.85". Every time it is turned off, then you turn it back on for use later..it comes on like it is brand new from the box, doesn't seem to store anything? Have to keep reentering info, accounts and redownloading everything, even the initial self updating it does when you first get a new device...????

The device appears to have some type of hardware or software issue. Where did you purchase it from? If you haven't already, I'd suggest returning it or contacting the manufacturer for a warranty repair if possible.
