Why does my Galaxy Edge S6 on Bell keep telling me to select keyboard?

why does my galaxy egde s6 on bell keep telling me to select keyboard

every time this does it I go to set up input methods the ones I want are on like Samsung keyboard and google voice typing then I hit the home button and minutes later its back up please help

Is there a pop-up that displays, or do you mean the icon with select input in the status bar (notification area)? If it's the notification area, then that's normal and it's supposed to do that. Otherwise, please clarify and we'll help further.

why is it normal to get a notification to select your keyboard EVERYDAY??? It's absurd!

I find it handy.

I normally use the Samsung keyboard.

At times though I find it useful to use the Google voice.

The option shown in the top notification area is handy!

why is it normal to get a notification to select your keyboard EVERYDAY??? It's absurd!

It's built into android OS. It's not just Samsung phone that does this. It's just a small icon only while your keyboard is open.
