Why does my Galaxy five go into wifi with wifi settings turned off?

Galaxy five goes into wifi with wifi settings turned off

After the update my phone goes into wifi even though all the wifi settings are disabled including the 2.5 5 mhz settING that everyone says to unchecked

Do you mean it pops up the networks or wifi turns itself on? If it is turning itself on ensure you don't have something like "Sprint Connection Optimizer" on your phone which could be turning it on.
