Galaxy Note 4 Lock Screen security disappears after a few hours leaving phone unlocked

Galaxy Note 4 ATT
I set up fingerprint scan for security which works fine. After a few hours it defaults to swipe (essentially unlocked). ran virus checks, uninstalled most apps.. same problem. Anyone else with same problem find a solution?

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Security>Clear Credentials​. Then set up your Fingerprint Security again, and see if the same thing happens.

Do you have CM Security installed in your phone? There are some reports of this app causing a similar problem with the status bar.

By the way, have you by any chance installed Webroot in your phone?
