Why does my Galaxy S3 Mini keep opening the Google Play Music app?

My Galaxy S3 Mini keeps opening Google Play Music app

I've got a Galaxy S3 Mini (model GT-I8190N) running version 4.1.2 and it keeps opening Google Play Music app even though I have not asked it to. I cannot uninstal the app or disable it. Any ideas

Perhaps clearing the cache for the app? Settings>apps>swipe over to all apps>down to Play Music>click on it>click clear cache.
