Galaxy S4 Bluetooth phone voice cuts out

When I use my car radio to make a call with my S4, the person's voice talking to me cuts out, like a record skipping (apologies for dating myself). My S2 did not do that and neither did my Blackberry. There does not seem to be an issue with them hearing me. Please understand that when I beam MP3's to the same car radio, the playback performance is flawless so i can't believe it is a connection issue.

My car radio is an Alpine CDR9884 with all the modules (Bluetooth, HD Radio, Imprinting, etc) and it is a really boss system. Phone is from T-Mobile.

Try going in to the keypad , then settings, call, and try turning off noise reduction.
