Why does my Galaxy S5 have "phantom touches"?

I keep getting these phantom touches on my Galaxy S5. It's like the back button is being hit 3-4 times, and it kicks me out of the app I'm using. Even when it kicks me out you can feel it still hitting the back button.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean that you can feel the vibration of the button press, even though you're not pressing it? Does this persist after a reboot? How about in Safe Mode? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10696
