The tablet boots up, stays on for about 20-30 seconds and then reboots. I tried a factory reset, it says it completes after only a few seconds but upon restart nothing has changed. Attempting to wipe the cache partition results in error.

Welcome to Android Central! Is the battery draining quickly? If you have an SD card inserted, does it matter if you remove the card?
If the above don't seem to be the case, then it's probably a problem with the firmware or hardware. You could try reinstalling the firmware, either with Samsung Kies or manually with Odin: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...w-flash-stock-rom-via-odin-new-interface.html
