Google navigation voice gets cut off using bluetooth audio in car

Hi,

I have read others have had problems with no audio going through bluetooth during navigation in the car. I have a problem where I only get the very end of each instruction. So instead of "in 200 feet turn left of main street" I will just hear "main street". If I disable bluetooth then I hear everything fine through my phone's speaker.

Any ideas?
FYI, I have nexus 6 and 2015 VW Jetta.

An incompatibility between the Bluetooth media implementation in the phone and the media implementation in the car. Bluetooth is something that's available, it's not something that has standard profiles that must be adhered to, the profile definitions are loose enough that some devices don't play nicely with others.

Thanks for info. Sounds like if that is the case there isn't much to try except hoping that an android system update improves Bluetooth compatibility.

Actually today I streamed music while navigating and found the voice didn't cut out. It must be related to not having the sound constant.
