Why does my homescreen lose all apps?

Android Central Question

Samsung A3 2016. When I switch off the phone or the battery goes flat, I lose all my homescreen apps. When I power up again allI have is the default homescreen.
 
Welcome to Android Central! Are you using the stock launcher, or a 3rd party launcher?
