Why does my LG G 3 phone keep switching to Spanish?

LG G 3 phone keeps switching to spanish

I just got this new LG G3 about 1 month now and for some reason, play store is all in spanish and then my chrome search show me yahoo.mx.

I have no clue why because I'm in Canada. So once a week I have to disable the WIFI and Data, then clear the cache for playstore and playstore service. Then re-activate WIFI and Data, then its all good for 1 week.

Repeat process next week.

Welcome to Android Central! Did you get it from your carrier store, or unlocked on eBay or some other online retailer?

I got it from my local mobile carrier Virgin Mobile.

What region does your Google account profile have set? If it's anything other than Canada the that could be the issue. Go into your Google account settings via Web and change it accordingly. Let us know if that helps.

I did not setup an account on google playstore. I don't usually buy things so I did not see a need to enter my credit card info. I'm assuming that's what you meant. Still new on android.

srkmagnus was referring to your main Google settings. On your computer browser, go to any Google page, click on your account picture at the upper right, click My Account, then Account Preferences. Make sure Language is set to English.

Sorry for the late response as I was on vacation. I checked the account an it says english US. not sure what else to check anymore.

Have you brought the phone back to the store and asked them? Maybe they can give you a replacement.
