Why does my Lg Gpad x8.0 get stuck on the carrier(T-Mobile) display when it starts up?

Hi, I have an Lg G pad x8.0. When I power it up and the T-Mobile logo displays, the brightness toggles from low to high in a loop. I cannot get in the tablet because it repetitively loops. After a couple of minutes or so, the tablet goes to the android start display and it makes the tablet start up again only slower. It just loops this whole process and eventually shouts down again.

Welcome to Android Central! Unfortunately, a bootloop like that usually means corrupt firmware or failing hardware. Is it still under warranty?
