Why does my LGG4 freeze while powering on?

My LGG4 freezes while powering on

My LGG4 froze while I was on a website. I could not turn it off so I removed the battery and replaced it. I powered the phone up and it froze on the Life's Good Powered by android screen. It will not advance past this point.

Welcome to Android Central! Had it been acting up before this? Do you recall getting any popups while on that website, and tapping on a link?

If it just keeps freezing, you might have to do a factory reset, which will unfortunately wipe the phone: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-21911
