Why does my MOTO G 2nd Gen auto-restart after copying files from USB cable?

MOTO G 2nd Gen auto-restarts after copying files from USB cable

I am using MOTO G 2nd Gen. I use samsung USB cable to copy files from computer to phone. There is no SD card in my phone.

Noticed that phone restarts again and again until battery drains I guess. After that if I switch on , seems ok.

Happened twice.. is it problem with battery or cable or ROM

Appreciate any help!! phone is serious trouble..

Welcome to Android Central! Does it happen with other USB cables? What happened to the one that came with the phone?
