Why does my Note 3 lose contacts every few hours . reboot and they reappear?

Note 3 loses contacts every few hours .. reboot and they reappear

Anybody have a solution for this .. I searched Forum but didn't find anything. Recently installed update. Every few hours my phone will lose contacts. I do a Hard boot and they return ..

Welcome to Android Central! This is in the Contacts app, or the Phone/Dialer app? Are the contacts from Google or elsewhere, or locally stored on the Phone account?
