Re: Phone No Signal (exclamation mark on signal bar) When WIFI is disconnected

Welcome to the forums.😃

Has it always been like this? Do you know what the signal is like in your area, for your network?

It may simply be that the phone is failing to connect. Turning Airplane Mode on and off, and Mobile Data off and on, sometimes fixes it.

I have the same problem.
When I am away from WiFi the phone signal always has an exclamation mark by it and the Chrome browser refuses to connect to the internet but strangely some other apps like OneDrive, BBC weather will connect. I was told that if the Android system thinks there is WiFi available that this will happen but I have no idea how to over-ride the problem to get a connection when there obviously isn't a WiFi signal.
I have tried switching WiFi on and off, re-booting the phone, turning data roaming on and off, turning aeroplane mode on and off, checking and trying new TalkTalk settings for the mobile connection all to no avail. I should add that it worked fine before it updated but I have no idea which Android update caused the problem.
My phone is a OnePlus One with v6.01

Do let me know if you find a fix!
