Why does my phone only work on speaker following SW update?

Following SW Update of my Samsung Galaxie note 9, I can't hear any thing. Only on speaker phone for calls or headphone for movies.. Drives me crazy. What can I do?

You can try couple things
1. restart the phone see if it's ok
2. put phone in safe mode that way we know of any 3rd party apps causing issues

Is there a possibility that you are connected to a Bluetooth speaker that you can't hear, perhaps one in the car? Happens to me all the time when I get out of the car but the Bluetooth is still connected, phone rings, I answer it but don't hear a darn thing until I realize that the Bluetooth in the truck is still connected.

I reckon this person found the issue and didn't have the decency to return with the fix.

Would "new" mean they are new to bring a member?
Is there a waiting period for members, to get a user name, but are allowed to post anonymously, in the mean time?

How can one without an account start a new thread?
I've asked moderators this question, but received no answer.

If I'm not logged into my account, I can only read threads on AC.

If that's the case, then the OP would have no benefit of the replies, because there would be no avenue in which to be notified.

I'ts just showing as the account is N/A now. I don't think that means he never had an account, just that it's no longer active. Maybe he had an account when he posted, got his answer then deleted or closed his account so it now shows the thread OP as "Android Central Question" because the account is closed?
