Why does my S3 keep on shutting off and won't turn on?

Keeps on shutting off and won't turn on?

Hi, I have the S3 phone and I was just on my phone scrolling, screenshot some pictures and then out of no where my phone won't turn on. I tried taking out the battery and turning it back on and that did not work... It'll just keep on going to "S3" logo sign and then shut down again that's how far it'll go. I tried charging it and then turn it on and still does the same thing. It's been a couple of hours since this been happening and still no changes. The closes thing where my phone would turn on is just the logo sign and then it'll shut down back again.. Any suggestions on what should I do? It'll be a year this summer of August.

Plug the charger in. Leave it overnight. In the morning, leave the charger plugged in and turn the phone on. If it comes on for a little bit longer, the battery is shot. (If you constantly drain the battery to near 0, you'll kill it in 6 months. See The Care and Feeding of Lithium Polymer Batteries.)
