Why does my S8 battery seems like it is draining very fast?

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy S8. After using it for a few days, i feel that the battery level is going down fast. Even when i m totally not using it for 2 hrs, the battery will still go down a few percent. N The person that sold me the phone said that the new s8's battery is quite durable. Is there anything wrong with my phone or battery?

Charge to 100%, use normally, then when down to about 40%, take a screenshot of your battery usage stats. Post it here.
Tell us also your screen-on time, brightness, and signal strength. Then we'll have a diagnose.

It could be apps refreshing in the background. Check the settings for each app, including those you've never used. For example, Google Play Newsstand, social media, and email apps are continuously refreshing in the background by default. Unless you change the settings, they're draining your battery. Also connections settings: Leaving phone visibility and location on can also affect battery life.

probably because this phone is awesome and it's hard to put down. I have had my a week and battery seems,to have gotten better since first couple days

After I recorded a video which was stored on my SD card my battery started going down fast. Even though it was 3 hours later and I had long finished recording it was still going down fast. I rebooted, cleared cache and it continued going down fast. I removed the SD card and it stopped. I didn't put it back in and it's running normally again.
