Why does my S9 get worse cell service then my S6?

My phone service is much worse then the S6 was. I drop calls on the road and in my house. I rarely get many bars in the house. I have rebooted my phone and I reset networks already. I toggle airplane mode and that seems to help for a short time. Is there anything else i can try? I have att network.

Welcome to Android Central! Did you get the phone directly from AT&T, or did you get it unlocked from somewhere else?

If it is from AT&T and not just AT&T sim card. Use Wi-Fi Calling at home. Check map for coverage in your area.
