Why my samsung galaxy S3 heat up while playing games

when i play games at my Samsung galaxy S3 it heats up aloot and fast at the bottom. Can any body tell me whether its dangerous or not, while charging, using net or watching videos e.t.c it does not give me this issue. Please answer me who are experts in it.

Welcome to Android Central.

Playing games is processor-intensive, and an inevitable by-product of this is heat. The processor is designed to be capable of such hard work, but the heat can damage the phone. I'm not an expert but have read posts both here and in the Windows Phone forums from owners whose phones have been damaged by processor heat. I personally would avoid it.
Of course it depends on what you mean in your text by 'heats up'. You could download an app that will measure the actual temperatures, then post those here.
