Why does my Samsung galaxy s4 die so quickly?

I can leave my phone charging all the way until 100% and the battery drains quickly. That's not the part that angers me. The battery has been dying at random percentages. Today, it died at 69% and last night at 29%. Can somebody tell me what is going on!?
