Why does my Samsung S3 Mini only shows the name then suddenly turns off?

Samsung S3 Mini only shows up the name then suddenly turns off

So I have this S3 Mini for over 2 years now and recently, I accidentally spilled some water on it but I immediately wipe it off. I looked at it and still working fine. Few minutes later, a screen saying power reset and unknown upload message shows up and I pressed the power button again and again and it keeps showing up until it turns black and left it for a few minutes then when I tried turning it on, it only shows up the s3 mini name then the screen turns black after. I keep trying and trying but still nothing is happening. Should I get it fixed or there is still any easy way it might be recovered? Any help would be appreciated.

You likely need to get it fixed or replaced. Although there was no immediate water damage, it does appear that water has affected the performance of the device and is resulting in the problems you are having now. I'd suggest contacting your carrier if you have insurance on the device or look at options to send back to Samsung for repair.
