Why does my samsung s4 have a circle and a line threw it where the signel bar should be

My samsung s4 shows a circle with a line threw it saying I have no signle but just a few days ago it was prfect it does it alot then it goes back to full bars

Welcome to Android Central! Contact your carrier and see if there has been a problem with the network. If not, you might need to get a replacement SIM card.
