Why does my screen flash off and on when power on and chargring?

[AC Question]

When I plug in my Android tablet it shows the battery charging for 2 seconds and then goes black. Then when I turn it on it starts to boot up the screen goes on for 2 seconds and then goes black and Powers off. My tablet is also rooted and I can't go into restore mode because it just powers on and off what can I do?
