Why does my screen keep turning on?

My screen keeps turning on

Hey all,

since mid-December, my phone has exhibited a problem: when I press the power button to put it to sleep, the screen turns on a few seconds later. Needless to say, my battery life is now under 2 hours.

- Wakelock Detector shows nothing unusual; there are often zero Screen Wakelocks.
- Galaxy Nexus, rooted, Cyanogenmod (11.0-installerXNPQ32P), Android 4.4.4, APEX Launcher.

I have no idea what to check next. Thanks for your help.

Start in Safe Mode.

If that doesn't fix it, try using a different launcher.

If that doesn't fix it (I assume you can do a nandroid backup and restore), back up the ROM and flash the stock ROM.

If that doesn't fix it, find a medium who can hold a seance - it's haunted.
