Why does my SD card photo says media not found?

sd card photos says media not found

Xperia z2 has a 64gb SD card took photos today quite a few daughters birthday. Got home and went to look at them but it just comes up on every picture media not found. Anybody able to help so we can get our photos?

Download and install (Actually just pull the files out of the zip into a folder) from PhotoRec to your PC. Put the card into a card reader and plug it into the PC. (Not into a USB hub - directly into a USB port on the PC.) The instructions for using PhotoRec are at PhotoRec Step By Step.

If the pictures are on the card, PhotoRec will pull them off. If it can't, they're not there. (The program, no matter how much it's worth, is FOSS - free open source software. For a program like this, that's like "free sample day" at the bank.)
