Why does my SG Edge get really hot?

I've noticed that my Samsung S6 Edge gets particularly hot for no reason. It gets quite hot whilst charging which understandable and whilst running large apps - that's understandable too, but I've noticed that it gets warm for no apparent reason.

Right now it's beside me with no apps (minus the background apps that seem to always run) and it's quite warm. In some cases, it gets too hot to touch!

I'm just wondering if anyone else has the same problem, or if I have a problem with my device.

Does your battery drain very quickly too when it gets hot? Did the problem start from day 1 since you got the phone? Maybe the problem started because of some bad apps. Try uninstalling suspicous apps.

Can you post a screenshot on settings>battery>battery usage.

My S6 edge does get hot often under use. Even light browsing, watching videos can make my S6 edge warm.
