Why does my sound not work right after updating to 8.0 on LG G5?

Last night I updated my phone to 8.0 and noticed obviously the different appearance. Today, I was on a phone call and placed it on speaker phone - the volume continually lowered itself. I would slide it back up to full volume and it would slide right back down. I took it off speaker phone and it continued to do that during the call. I could barely hear the person on the other end of the call.

When I go to watch any video, the sound sounds like my speakers have blown. I watched a 20 minute video on my phone last night prior to upgrading with no issues. Now, every video, even with the sound turned down sounds awful.

I have an LG G5.
