Why does my voicemail cut off on my Galaxy Note Edge?

PLEASE HELP... voicemail cuts off on Galaxy Note Edge

I have a new (2 months) Galaxy Note Edge and from time to time the voicemail cuts off. This occurs when I press the play button. The voicemail starts playing but when I bring the phone to my ear, it shuts off. Very frustrating. Can anyone help?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you playing the voicemail using your wireless carrier's voicemail interface that you have to call into? Or are you using some kind of app?
