WiFi is automatically disabled if mobile data is on

Screenshot_2014-12-17-10-20-02.jpg

My phone won't connect to WiFi networks. When I try to connect to WiFi, it acts like its connecting, but then instead of saying "connected" under the network name, it says "turned off". I can fix the problem by turning off mobile data in the settings, but that means that whenever I go out of WiFi range I'll have to go into settings and manually turn mobile data on, and whenever I want to connect to WiFi, I'll have to manually turn it off again! What caused this and how can I get my phone back to normal?

Galaxy S5 on version 4.4.2. Carrier is AT&T.

Take the phone to your local AT&T store. They probably won't be able to help you (they're sales, not technical), but they can tell you where the Device Support Center is. Those are the people who can help you. (Make sure that everything is backed up - they sometimes just replace the phone with one that works.)
