AC Question
I have a Samsung G S5 that was recently upgraded to Lollipop. I have a number of apps that use push notifications - which I hate. What I used to do is long click the notification, which would take me to the application manager screen for the app. Then I would unclick the show notifications icon. Since the update, the system resets my preferences after a short period of time (1-2 days), so that I continue to get notifications for these apps. I know I can go into the individual apps and use the notification setting there, but this is more of a hassle and often gets reset after the next update. Why is Lollipop no longer saving my preferences?
