Why does the LG G6 camera stop recording?

I have had my LG G6 camera for less than a year. When recording video it just stops. Sometimes it happens within a few seconds, sometimes 10 sometimes more. I have reset my phone, used third party apps and it still happens. Does anyone have any clue how to fix this. I picked up this phone specifically to use for video recording and I can even use it.
