the new update will not work as in the lenses effects will not work on my phone but will let me pay to replay snaps.

I have an s4 also and 2 friends with s5's and theres dont work either! have cleared my cache, uninstalled and reinstalled it, I checked and made sure I had an up to day date phone (5.0 or higher) (you can make sure your phone is up to date to go to settings>more>about device> android version) and I tried signing in and out and even restarting my phone and nothing works. My other friend with and iPhone updated and it worked right away! I feel it's phone favoritism... I hate iPhones... just saying

I have the s4 as well and my phone is updated to the newest version (5.0.1) I just uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, after logging back in I went to clear the cache (Settings>More>Application Manager>Snapchat>Clear Cache) and the filters are now working. Rewind, Fast forward, Slow-MO, etc.

Actually, Snapchat has not made the update for android yet, so it's only for apple products right now which sucks
