Why does the sound on my tablet sound like it's coming out of a can

[Android Central Question]

Not sure why my tablet decided to start sounding like somebody was speaking through a long metallic tube even YouTube and others sound this way. Any suggestions would be great thank you

Welcome to Android Central! Does this also happen using wired or Bluetooth headphones? If not, then it's probably an issue with the main speaker.
