Why doesn't my Fingerprint scanner unlock my phone?

Nothing happens when I put my finger there, so I still have to press the "home" button and then swipe to open.

Did you set your security to fingerprints instead of no security? Might want to check that setting.

I'm unclear what setting is supposed to be in what mode. Are these not correct?
