Why doesn't the OnePlus 5 include LTE Band 13?

I just looked at the specs for the soon-to-come Element (also unlocked) phone, and it includes LTE band 13. So does the Moto G5 plus, which is about 1/2 the price of a OnePlus 5.

So.......... Why doesn't the OnePlus 5??

Yes, I know LTE Band 13 is a Verizon band.

My question is why do some unlocked phones include LTE Band 13 while the OnePlus 5 does not.

I'm a long time Verizon customer and No LTE Band 13 on a phone is a deal killer for me because of where I live.

The essential and Moto G are quite US centric devices and companies.

Oneplus don't care about the US market anywhere near as much as a lot of people seem to think... It's nowhere near their biggest market.
