Why doesn't this article about the S7+ Tab screen protectors go into more detail?

Welcome to Android Central! Those kinds of articles are essentially thinly veiled ads -- note that at the top of the article, it says AC may earn a commission for purchases using their links. This is not unique to Android Central -- many other tech sites have articles like this, like CNet or ZDNet.

The author of the article is Christine Persaud (a freelancer). You can tweet at her @ christineTechCA, and maybe she can try to answer some of your questions.

I moved this thread to the Site Feedback forum.

I've never seen a screen protector that interferes with the S Pen ability to draw and have only seen screen sensitivity issues a few times, typically the result of a poor installation.

I think most reviewers gloss over or don't cover those issues with screen protectors because it's rare to have issues.

I read a recently-updated review on iMore of screen protectors for the SE 2020. Despite the recent update, no mention was made of the fact that some screen protectors, including some at least of those reviewed, if not all, do not adhere to the edges of the SE’s screen, which is apparently of slightly different design from earlier 4.7” iPhones. Owners of that device have discovered this the hard way. Some manufacturers responded long ago by modifying the design, but there remain many on the market that are unsuitable. The one question that you would want answered - which ones are good for the SE - wasn’t even recognised as an issue, let alone answered.

There is a simple term to describe such articles.

Took a moment and edited to link your post, and appropriately title your thread to refer to the S7+ as the tablet, and not the phone, OP.
