Why don't I get email notifications?

No e mail notifications

Like many others, after the 5.0 update, which I now deeply regret doing, I have no e mail updates. This happened back in January after a trip to New Zealand, after returning I deleted the account, reinstalled it and it worked. No such luck this time. I'm using a personal e mail account, not Google.

Hoping there's a fix in the works.

Having the same issue. Some have had success with clearing the cache and data for the email app. Unfortunately, I don't have the option to clear the data because the option is grayed out on my phone.
